Dolores Haze, has unveiled its FW15 collection, and we’re stoked to share the first look. The NY-based womenswear label is the sartorial brainchild of Parsons grad Samantha Giordano, inspired by self-described “the ‘60s melded with a hint of grunge, transcended into dresses & separates with a mix of school uniform prep”.
We can’t give away all of the details just yet – but the new collection boasts new, flirty and femininely refined, tailored dresses and tops, juxtaposed by the perfect amount of statement pieces including a covetable moto-inspired indigo jacket | skirt set.
The polaroid series below features words from the designer’s own journal aligned with the FW15 collection, which according to Giordano, drew inspiration from Kenneth Anger’s experimental film Scorpio Rising – ‘60s pop eerily loops as James Dean looking boys on motorcycles enter the scene. The shades of indigo, red, white, and religious iconography in this collection were a nod to the colors and images in the film.
