Brothers Chris and Tim James had been playing together for over ten years, before recruiting bassist Ryan Parmenter and guitarist Will Nicoll to form the present Los Angeles-based band, KG Bird. Their most recent addition, Aya Kawaguchi, completes the quintet, gracing the keyboard.
KG Bird has an awesome indie-folk rock, experimental sound, influenced by the likes of George Harrison and Silver Jews. Their most recent self-released digital album, ‘Morning Weather,’ can be found here.
