The folks over at Herschel Supply Co have been crafting up more than just quality backpacks. This Friday, Known Gallery in Los Angeles will host the release of Herschel’s new editorial platform, The Journal; a bi-annually curated collection of seasonal articles, inspiring stories, insightful interviews and beautiful imagery, in a beautiful printed zine available at selected retailers worldwide.
Known Gallery will also host a two day art instillation that explores the wild island town of Tofino, the chosen setting for Herschel’s Spring 2014 lookbook. The showcased art pieces hold locally inspired stories on beach shelters, surf shaping, a feature on the Pacific fish print, a Well Travelled submission from Mexico as well as a larger than life installation featuring Rad Cars artist Kevin Butler.
