Your home is your creative space. It’s where you unwind, write, draw, paint, make, do, think, eat, create, relax, sleep, reset. It should be a place that inspires you – a place that you want to come home to – and a place that greets you with a warm, cozy, comfortable hug the moment you walk through the door. The best spaces are ones that best embody your personality and fit your lifestyle.
Screw the rules – it’s simple. If you hate white walls, paint over them or decorate them. If you prefer sitting on the floor, adorn your home with pillows and ottomans. If you don’t watch TV, utilize the space for a candle or flora display. Above all, your home should be about you.
Our favorite interiors are adorned with a mix of ethnic patterns, global prints, unique textiles and eclectic artwork. From aztec rugs to kantha throws, our own cozy paradise would be filled with global trinkets and authentic souvenirs from a life well-travelled.
